    An Afternoon of Harp Music with Rebecca Swett

    Rebecca’s harp program will include light classical and popular selections such as Broadway show tunes, music from the stage and screen, Rogers and Hammerstein, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin , Gershwin, Debussy, Puccinni and many favorites.

    Rebecca Swett was born in Hartford, CT. She began studying the harp at the age of 10 at the Hartt School of Music in Hartford, CT. Upon moving to Boston, she continued her studies at Boston University School of Music with Lucille Lawrence in pursuit of a career as a harpist.Rebecca lived in Vero Beach and Miami Lakes, Florida from l990 – 1999, at which time she performed in many solo, ensemble and symphony concerts, as well as extensive freelance engagements. Her career experiences include performances with orchestras for the Steve Lawrence and Edie Gorme concert, the Russian Symphony Orchestra, the exclusive Admirals Cove in Jupiter, and throughout the South Florida area.

    Rebecca relocated to Littleton MA in 2002 where her husband was the Senior Minister of the Congregational Church of Littleton until 2017.

    Rebecca’s husband recently took a position at First Church Fairfield Congregational where they now reside. She has released 7 CDs and has performed in numerous engagements throughout CT and MA including concerts, Sunday Brunch at the Historical Colonial Inn in Concord, MA, Ritz Carlton tea in Boston, MA freelance work which include weddings, dinners, special events and corporate events. Rebecca performed during the month of December for many years at businesses such as Ralph Jordans in Acton, Potpourri Designs in Concord and the Worcester Airport. She also specializes in programs and concerts at Senior Communities throughout New England.
